Devlog 3: A plan of attack


Hey, it's me again, Michiel. This week has been quite interesting. I won't sugarcoat it; some things could have gone better, but we're improving steadily. Anyway, here's a brief overview:

Ivo has been busy conducting research on all the software we'll need to use, as well as the rendering pipeline we'll be implementing.

Casandra has created the art references you can see in this post, along with the art bible.

Luca has been tirelessly working on the prototype, which you can download and try out!

As for me, I've been writing down some things—story elements, game mechanics, you name it. Here's the current idea for the story:

"The main characters are two detectives actively engaged in investigating a secretive cult, delving into its practices, members, and criminal activities. After a long search, the duo finally discovers the cult's base: an old abandoned manor on the outskirts of Dunwich. The town of Dunwich is known for its paranormal sightings. Not wanting to waste any time, the two detectives set forth toward the manor. Armed with flashlights and a rudimentary understanding of the occult, they enter the manor at night. Little do they know, they are not prepared for the horrors that lie within."
